بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds, and salutations be upon the Master of the Prophets and Messengers, Muhammad, and upon his noble family and righteous companions.
The blessed work you hold in your hands is the third part of the encyclopaedic series 'Ad-Deen,' authored by the erudite scholar Hazrat Bahr-ul-Uloom Muhammad Abdul Qadeer Siddiqui (Hasrat) of Hyderabad Deccan. The present volume is devoted to Kitab al-Islam — an exposition of the practical pillars and duties of the Deen, beginning with the most eminent of them: Salah (the prescribed prayer).
The first and second parts of 'Ad-Deen' dealt with the foundations of faith and the essentials of Islamic belief (Iman). This third part transitions from belief to practice, providing a detailed, hadith-grounded account of Islamic worship — its times, its forms, its rulings, and its inward spirit.
Hazrat Hasrat was among the foremost scholars of his era. A prolific writer and teacher, he dedicated his life to making the sciences of the Quran and Sunnah accessible to the common believer. His magnum opus, the complete Quranic commentary 'Tafseer Siddiqui,' stands as a monument of Deccani Islamic scholarship. May Allah grant him the highest stations in Paradise and continue to benefit the Ummah through his works. Ameen.
We pray that this publication serves as a source of guidance and spiritual benefit for readers. Any errors in typesetting or editing are unintentional; readers are requested to bring them to our attention. We ask Allah for sincerity of intention and acceptance of this humble effort.
