Topic 165: Muslims' Homes

Hazrat spoke about the importance of Muslim households being centers of knowledge, remembrance, and training. He recalled incidents from his own household — how his revered mother's home had been a place of blessing, visited by scholars and seekers from many lands.

Hazrat spoke about the Murshid's Prayer Mat and Hazrat Pasha: 'The previous day, Hazrat Khwaja Mian Sahib's sons and all — they came several days before — the day of 'Urs (the death anniversary gathering) coming, the permission to pray the 'Urs — (Hazrat Qibla's words) — I said — "May Allah keep them alive, keep them well." — 'Abd al-Muqtadir Sahib was doing — Hazrat! (Chand Pasha was their son-in-law, having a prayer mat) — with hand signaling he said (signaling with hand that his meaning was closed by hand) — he gave the offering — with hand.

"Hazrat Pasha's Previous Prayer Mat" — (Pasha Sahib was a good man — to Hazrat Qibla they used to come to visit) — from them he spoke: 'I am satisfied with you' — (after detail — Habib Bhai's narration) — in Pasha Hazrat's reply it was said: 'He said, "How am I satisfied?"' — Then Pasha Hazrat said: 'Allah Subhanahu — I am satisfied with all of me — the whole world I am satisfied — "our Sarkar" (meaning Khwaja Mian Sahib) said — "Yes, Khawand Pasha!" — He spoke in his words — "in my speaking stay" — "I shall stay in your speaking" — how am I falsely speaking? — "what is in me in this" — I say.'

The Final Gatherings — Closing Note by the Compiler

The compiler (Abu al-Mujahid Sayyid Ahmad Khayral-Din Qadiri) writes: With this, Part Four of Fuyooz-e-Sohbat concludes. These pages represent the last years of Hazrat Bahr-ul-Uloom's blessed life — years spent in constant teaching, guidance, and spiritual transmission. May Allah Most High reward the reader for their engagement with these discourses, and may the blessings of the great Shaykh continue to flow to all who seek Allah through this chain. Alhamdulillah.

Notes on Central Asian Muslims (February 1960)

In an earlier sitting around February 1960, Hazrat had spoken about the condition of Muslims in Central Asia under Soviet rule. He recalled that in 1960 the situation was difficult — the Muslims of regions that would become Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan were not yet free. Hazrat's du'a (supplication) for them was: that the du'a of Imam Bukhari and Khwaja Baha al-Din Naqshbandi would open the door for them. The compiler adds the note that in 1991, the Soviet Union broke apart, and Muslim-majority populations in those regions became independent. Alhamdulillah.
