The World of Archetypes — Witnessing and Barzakh
عالم مثال — عالم برزخ — صفات
Keep this well in mind: whatever appears in the exemplary world (Alam al-Mithal) need not necessarily manifest in bodies in the World of Witnessing, and whatever appears in the World of Witnessing need not necessarily appear in the exemplary world — just as whatever appears in the exemplary world need not necessarily appear in the World of Witnessing. Similarly, the World of Archetypes also has differences of subtlety at various degrees — just as bodily forms have different degrees of transparency. In the lower levels of the Spirit — the coarser spirits — forms like Sheikh Saddo, Tarsoo, etc. — footnote 1: these in Hyderabad Deccan are known as bad spirits. Some individuals by means of special spiritual practice see them; some long-distance positions or some phenomena of this world — like the mountain, excavation, and serpents going in — the perfection of faith is where? the complete resignation to Divine Will and acceptance, the Divine Knowledge — what is the purpose of unveiling the secrets of wisdom — what is the purpose of a divine heart? But apart from Allah it is all play and entertainment.
The state of the World of Witnessing relative to the exemplary world is similar — because the bodies of the exemplary world are of the subtlety of forms, like the subtlety of bodies and of bodies — the exemplary world is larger than the body — not that the exemplary world is more apparent; rather it is finer — more subtle than light — whether subtle or condensed — each appears in the mind's mirror — the author himself came to Hyderabad and saw what he saw — he saw the court of solitude — nothing — yet the grandeur of the knowledge of Being became apparent. Often nothing from outside manifests, yet the inner spiritual states in the today-image of the nafs (self) — in the today-condition of the nafs's present form — do not appear — at Resurrection they will be manifest in the batin; the knowledge of the nafs will become famous. Some people give such importance to seeing through the kashf of the exemplary world.
