Light and Existence (نور اور وجود)
The relationship between divine light (nur) and existence (wujud): Light is the manifestation of divine existence. True being belongs to Allah alone; the existence of created things is borrowed, derivative light — a reflection of the divine. This is the metaphysical foundation of the concept of wahdat al-wujud (the unity of being) as properly understood — not pantheism, but the recognition that all genuine existence traces back to the One Necessary Being.
The Obligatory and the Permissible (واجب اور اباحت)
The distinction between what is obligatory (wajib) and what is merely permitted (mubah) is crucial for the moral life of the believer. The obligatory demands compliance; the permissible invites the believer to choose wisely and with awareness of higher purposes. Treating the permissible as obligatory leads to hardship and innovation; treating the obligatory as merely optional leads to negligence and sin.
Allah Must Be Obeyed Whether You Accept or Reject (اللہ واجب الاطاعت ہے تم مانو یا نہ مانو)
Allah is Wajib al-Ita'at — His obedience is obligatory, regardless of whether a person chooses to accept this truth or deny it. The denial of a moral obligation does not abolish the obligation — it merely compounds the guilt of the denier. Every soul will be held accountable for what it knew and chose to do.
Repentance (توبہ)
Tawba (repentance) is one of the greatest gifts Allah has given to human beings. The door of repentance remains open to every sinner so long as death has not arrived and the sun has not risen from the West. A sincere repentance — encompassing remorse, cessation of the sin, and firm resolution not to return to it — wipes away the sin entirely, as if it had never occurred.
