A Good Outcome (اچھا نتیجہ)
The world without means produces nothing. Causes and means (asbab) are part of divine wisdom — Allah has arranged the world on the basis of causation. The believer does not abandon means; rather he uses means while relying on Allah alone for the outcome. The means are the servant's duty; the result belongs to Allah.
An Important Remedy (ایک اہم نسخہ)
A remedy using sesame seeds for fever — this was shared as a tried and tested prescription from traditional medicine.
Essence, Attribute, and Name (ذات، صفت اور اسم)
Allah is the Essence (dhat) — the ultimate, self-subsisting reality. 'Alim (All-Knowing) is an attribute (sifat). 'Ism (name) is a compound that combines essence and attribute. The distinction is critical: the Essence is simple and without parts; attributes are modes of relation; names are how we designate the combined reality. Understanding these distinctions protects one from both anthropomorphism (tashbih) and pure negation (ta'til).
Not Reincarnation but the World of Similitudes (آواگن نہیں بلکہ عالم مثال)
The doctrine of reincarnation (awagan — the Hindu concept of the transmigration of souls) is false in Islam. What the mystics speak of as repeated manifestations is the 'alam al-mithal (the world of similitudes or the imaginal realm) — an intermediate realm between the purely spiritual and the purely material. The 'ayn al-thabita (the fixed essence of a being in divine knowledge) may manifest in composite effects and forms without there being any actual movement of a soul from one body to another. This distinction is crucial and separates Islamic metaphysics from Hindu philosophy.
All Except Allah Changes (اللہ کے سوا سب متغیر)
Everything other than Allah is subject to change. Existence and non-existence — coming into being and passing away — are the condition of all created things. Allah alone is the Necessary Being (Wajib al-Wujud), changeless and eternal. The creature alternates between states, while the Creator remains immutable.
