Bab al-Iman Yazdad
Iman Increases in Quality, Strength, and Detail
And do whatever you want. Believe in God in name only, or rather even if you do not believe in God at all, there is no harm. Even before this, attempts have been made to mix Islam with non-Islam. Sikhism and the Kabir Panthi path are memorials of this. But remember! Until you accept the prophethood of Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, with your heart and accept His madhab, and until you restrict truth exclusively to the Deen of Muhammad ﷺ, you will lose this world and the Hereafter. May God grant sound intellect, so that we may distinguish between truth and falsehood. We do not turn away from Islam. We are Muslims and people of Iman. We live upon it, we will die upon it, and if Allah wills, we will be raised upon the Madhab of Islam. (Meaning upon the Madhab of Islam).
(Buniya): was built, foundation was laid. إِيتَاءٌ (Ita'): to give. صَوْمٌ (Sawm): fasting.
Translation: Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (RA) narrates that the accepted one in the court of presence ﷺ said: "The foundation of Islam is upon five things. Testifying that there is no deity except Allah Ta'ala and testifying also that without a doubt Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ is the servant of Allah and His Messenger, establishing prayer correctly and regularly, giving Zakat, performing Hajj, and observing the fasts of the noble month of Ramadan." (This Hadith is in Bukhari Sharif and also in Tajrid-ul-Bukhari)
بَابٌ : اَلْإِيْمَانُ يَزْدَادُ كَيْفًا وَ قُوَّةً وَ تَفْصِيْلًا Regarding the increase of Iman in terms of quality, strength, and detail
قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى : لِيَزْدَادُوْا إِيْمَانًا مَعَ إِيْمَانِهِمْ ـ (آيت ٤ - الفتح) Translation: Allah Ta'ala says: "So that their Iman may increase along with their existing Iman." Meaning the strength of Iman may increase, its quality may increase.
قَالَ تَعَالَى لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ : أَوَلَمْ تُؤْمِنْ قَالَ بَلَى وَلَكِنْ لِّيَطْمَئِنَّ قَلْبِيْ ـ (آيت ٢٦٠ - البقرة) Translation: Allah Ta'ala asks Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) in response to his request, "O Ibrahim! Regarding giving life again after the whole creation dies, do you have some doubt or suspicion?"
